Project Specifics

    The Buenavista Del Cobre Copper mine located in Sonora, Mexico is the worlds 3rd largest copper mine. The mine underwent a $3.5B US expansion project which finished in 2014. Since then the mine has enjoyed yearly yields of 460,000 tons in 2016 and 500,000 tons in 2017.

    Sonic Enclosures worked closely with our client, Synergy, on this project to complete 5 E-Houses. Sonic and Synergy worked together to ensure the E-Houses where produced above expectation. On this project, Sonic designed and manufactured the enclosures and Synergy performed the electrical engineering, specification and installation of all electrical equipment.

    Our Collaborative Approach with Synergy Engineering proved to be a winning strategy. Our expertise’s in Structural and Mechanical engineering and Synergy’s expertise’s Electrical engineering ensured perfection.
