Project Specifics

    The Highland Valley Copper Mine located by Logan Lake in British Columbia, Canada primarily produces Copper and Molybdenum ore. Flour was contracted to upgrade existing and add new equipment to achieve a 2% increase in ore recovery and 10% increase in copper output. The upgrades include water system and tailings pond and grinding system and new flotation building and crushing facility.

    Our proven project management and production processes produced a innovative product designed to specific client needs while meeting tough deadlines.

    Normal project execution for the electrical integration phase is managed in-house by sonic’s team; this project however had extremely tight deadlines so we brought on a 15 man electrical subcontract team to ensure our clients needs were meet.
