Project Specifics
Faro Mine’s history is immense. Located in Northern Canada in the Yukon Territory, Faro Mine was once the largest lead-zinc open-pit mine in the World. In 1998 the Mine was abandoned and 2009 the Government and Stakeholder began a plan stop potential Environmental Hazards.
Sonic Enclosures was contracted by Parsons to design and manufacture 2 Containerized E-House’s and 3 Containerized Pump and Valve Enclosures. The Ehouse’s and Mechanical Enclosures will work in tandem along to assist pumping tailings water to the processing pool to be cleaned.
The project timeline was very aggressive to ensure the system was running prior to the Spring melt. Sonic’s reliability and commitment to our clients’ success ensured that the project was delivered on-time and on budget.
